It has always puzzled me that the Church is so extremely against birth
control. It seems to me that overpopulation is the cause of virtually every problem in the world today, so why would the Church not do its best to reduce birth rates for the billion Catholics around the world? I believe the Church gets so much of its funding from corporations that they are lobbied to maintain the ban on birth control so that the mega powerful multinationals have an unlimited supply of cheap labor. Washington isn't the only city controlled by special interests; Rome is too. Bill Clark http://home.austin.rr.com/whcii/ |
