Default dreaming of Istanbul

Is it because I suddenly realized that I missed the $499 special on
airfare plus four nights in Istanbul? I dreamt I was there with my
boss's dog, the only building that was in the right place was the police
station at the end of the Hippodrome, and at the end I was carrying my
cat across the street into a shopping mall complete with orchestra,
which was, much to my cat's relief, just going on break.

Default dreaming of Istanbul (ran)

I had a dream that took place somewhere Istanbulish too.
Don't remember much except the ending where I and three other people
were fleeing through the desert at night. We came to some sort of camp
with some horses and somebody shouted "grab a horse!", so we grabbed a
horse each, swung it onto our shoulders and ran into the rising sun.

Well, that's not such a surprise. Cats are known to hate classical,
especially Prokofiev. Our kitties, strangely, are big fans of
Palchelbel's Canon, as well as Bach and Mozart.

Ahhh...Mozart.

That's kind of interesting, actually. In the dream, I was disoriented
and finally recognized where I was by the sidewalk potholes and mutant
grey traffic cones. It wasn't until I woke up that I realized that,
except for the Hippodrome and that building, I had actually filled in
all of Sultanahmet with things that didn't exist.

I also don't know why I kept repeating that I was supposed to be at the
Otel Yollari ("Roads Hotel"?), or what those shady guys going back and
forth between the hotel and a panel truck parked outside were doing.
