LogicalReality challenges several cherished values and beliefs with a direct
approach that leaves certain viewers surprised, disturbed and even upset.
For example, some are appalled we do not adhere to today's standards that
say adult and particularly child nudity should be censored because it might
cause sexual arousal. Common sense dictates there is nothing wrong with
nudity, sexual arousal or even sex. If anything, positive visual
representations of sex should be on the front pages of every newspaper to
counter the extreme and sensationalized negative views of sex those same
newspapers bring us every day.

Though LogicalReality is bound to stay within legal limits, we will not
permit those limits to prevent us from saying what needs to be said in today
's world whether some find this in bad taste or not. We are committed to
openly and honestly approaching subjects like nudity, sex, pornography,
pedophilia, religion, morality, family values, gun control, abortion,
globalization, patriotism, the Iraq War, George W. Bush and more. If
certain individuals find this upsetting, it is a good indication an area of
their beliefs have been challenged by something probably a bit more logical.
And that in itself has to be a good thing.

LogicalReality is about tolerance born out of the understanding we all
indeed have much to learn from each other. It is about having the courage
to question long-standing beliefs and having the strength to let go of ideas
found void of logical foundations. It is about extinguishing irrational
fears and delusions with logic and common sense. It is about learning to
rely upon one's own mind to arrive at conclusions instead of accepting the
word of others. It is about moving forward with new ideas and values much
more in tune with human reality instead of blindly fighting to defend
yesterday's ignorance. It is about recognizing who and what we really are
and building upon today's scientific knowledge to help point us in new
directions towards what we are really seeking. It is about facing up to the
truths or realities in our world today and seeing how we might improve
things for future generations. It is about changing from passive victims to
activists while learning to accept responsibility for our role in the world
we have created. It is about recognizing that if we do not change things
for the better now, there is a good chance they may get worse.

LogicalReality is about humanity's never-ending quest for truth and
understanding. It is also about the fear, ignorance and stupidity that
causes some people to attempt to stand in the way of that quest. At
LogicalReality everyone is encouraged to be open, upfront, direct, and not
temper anything they have to say with concerns about how others might
respond. LogicalReality is about honesty, sincerity and respect for the
fact that like it or not, we are all in the same boat together and that is
obviously the way it was meant to be.

LogicalReality stands for many things but one of the most important is being
able to admit we are wrong. The website celebrates the fact humanity has
been endowed with the capacity to recognize its own imperfections and the
errors in our understandings. The truth is none of us may ever get it 100%
right but that does not mean we cannot have a whole lot of fun trying.
