Default Feminism (Probe Ministries) (women)

A women's lib speaker was addressing a large group and said, "Where would
man be today if it were not for woman?" She paused a moment and looked
around the room.
"I repeat, where would man be today if it were not for woman?" From the
back of the room came a voice, "He'd be in the Garden of Eden eating
strawberries."

Default Feminism (Probe Ministries) (paradigm path)

LOL

That's a good one! I'm sure the spirit of that meeting wasn't quite the
same after that! I wonder if they saw humour, or only anger?

I think it's safe to say than any paradigm that seeks to marginalize any
sector of the society so that they may lift themselves up over others, is on
a very dangerous path.

Aha! I knew that was something you would like.... ;-)

Just watch out for revenge! I'll throw some puddings at you.

Catch it if you can!

....

See the pudding flying...

No - you just think that.

See the other one flying? ....

Ah - I see. Okay, I'll take the puddings back
to eat them up all alone then .

Default Feminism (Probe Ministries) (prophet order curse definition don)

As a woman, I have never been attracted to the feminist movement. It seems
that many times talk of "equality" is usually synonymous with
freedom...freedom from men that is. Many things on their agenda not only
tears down men, but tears at the structure of our families. Their
definition of woman seems light years away from what God considers to be a
Virtuous woman. I don't believe in inequality, but I don't find my role as
a supporter and helpmeet for my husband to be unequal. We are equally
important, but with different areas of responsibility.

I appreciate you referring us to this article. It is quite good. God's
order is patriarchal and praise God for that. Who could reject such an
order as "unequal" after experiencing His love as a Father? He is the
ultimate patriarch, fair, just, loving, protecting, and compassionate. The
patriarchal order is simply a reflection of His character as a Father.

Remember too, the last words of the Old Testament. "Behold, I will send you
Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the
LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the
heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with
a curse." Malachi 4:5-6

I find God's character and the order that reflects His character beautiful.
Thank you for sharing this article!

Default Feminism (Probe Ministries) (patriarch)

Spoken like someone who never even considers the possibility that a
patriarch can't or WON'T provide for her.

Default Feminism (Probe Ministries) (order case patriarch women life)

Dear Paul,

While I don't think you meant it that way, I take your comments as a
compliment.

You are right, it has never occurred to me that a patriarch can't or won't
provide for me. You know why? Because Philippians 4:9 states that My God
shall supply all of my needs. As a child, My Father/Patriarch supplied all
my needs. As a single woman, My Father/Patriarch supplied all my needs. As
a married woman, My Father/Patriarch continues to supply all my needs.
Should I become a widow, My Father/Patriarch shall supply all my needs.

You see, I have a Patriarch who will ALWAYS provide for me. Should the
failures in human beings, or even your words, cause me to doubt that My
Father/Patriarch shall do abundantly more than all I could think or ask?
Nope!

I fear that you aim your sights too low in this case. I don't expect
perfection from man (and that includes woman). My trust is not based in men
(or women), but in My God. Because my life is in His hands, I know that I
can submit to Him and His Word in obedience without fear. Is my husband
perfect? Nope, No more than I am perfect. But I know that God will honor
us and our family as we abide in Him and submit to His Word.

The patriarchal order is a reflection of God's very character, which is
patriarchal. Jesus reveals God to mankind as Father/Patriarch.

Now cut that out! Pudding just happens to be very scary thing to me.

You should see some of the 'stuff' that passes for pudding around here!
When you make pudding for 500, sometimes the consistency is a little off!
Everything from 'drink it with a straw' to 'use it for bumpers around the
docks'.

And the skin on it? Sometimes it's so thick you could peel it off and use
it for a trampoline!

(OK, enough harassment of the bakers! They really do try, and it is very
bad for their self-esteem when children run screaming into the woods when
the find out the desert-of-the-day is pudding!)

Griz!
