Help me…
I'm trying to figure out the city on modern Eretz Israel that corresponds to
Luz in this week's Prashat of VAYHI. Does Luz correspond to Beth-El or Ai?
The reason I'm interested in this relates to my claims of seeing the Shekinah
on Eretz Israel. I claim to have witnessed the miracle of seeing the Holy
Shekinah in the form of a supernatural light that did not speak to me on the
summit of a small Tel overlooking the city of Taiyiba that is just south of
Tulkarm on Eretz Israel. Now be clear on this. I'm not referring to the city
of Taiyiba that is southwest of Kafr Malik and northeast of Ofra although that
city of Taiyiba would seem more likely to be the city of Luz that is mentioned
in this week's Torah Prashat (Bereshit [Genesis] 48:3). I saw the Shekinah on
the summit of a small Tel near the city of Taiyiba that is just south of
Tulkarm on Eretz Israel.
