May I please share a brief thought? Let's read
Ephesians 2:14-15, "For He Himself is our peace, who
made both groups into one and broke down the barrier
of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the emnity,
which is the Law of commandments contained in
ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two
into one new man, thus establishing peace..(NASB)"


should live after we are saved. Why do we revert back
to the law so readily when we are supposed to have
something better? Maybe we don't really have anything
better after all. In fact, the evidence does show that most
professing Christians are little different than the world
around us. We are supposed to shine as lights in this
dark world. But most blend right in with the world. We
have the same ambitions and motivations as the world.
We seek the same selfish pleasures and entertainments
that the world does. The law will cause us to fall short.
Only the Holy Spirit transforming us from the inside can
cause us to stand apart from the rest of the world as the
children of God that we are called to be.
