Sarah Carroll & Chris Wilson at the Rob Roy

As I saw Suzannah Espie and Ian Collard a few weeks ago it was only fair
that I go see Sarah's show too and also Trish's next week if I have the
money.

I can see where Sarah gets her funny stories and jokes from that she
tells during GIT's gigs as Chris Wilson was telling them all night. It
was also funny to see him making comments about some of Sarah's songs
that she sings with GIT as they mostly seem to be about younger men.

The drink of the night was the "Dribbling ****wit" that is made with
Tawny Port and the contents of the drip tray. According to Chris it
feels like a giant flaming eight-ball hitting you in the back of the
head.

I also enjoyed hearing Chris complain about one of his sons playing Guy
Sebastian's CD over and over when they went on holiday. The gig was also
dedicated to Janet Jackson's boobie by Chris Wilson.

It was interesting seeing Sarah and Chris play together as I am used to
seeing Sarah play with GIT and Chris play by himself (when I saw him at
GIT's CD launch.) I really liked how Chris used the harmonica to replace
the harmony voices on some of Sarah's songs.

I thought the best song was the Mystery Train as Chris got to show off
his fancy harmonica playing, but it must have been hard for Sarah to
keep up on guitar as he was going so fast.

They are playing a residency at the venue on Tuesday nights in February
($5 cover charge) and next week they promised to be performing in KISS
makeup.
