That would be A.U.C. ("ad urbe condita" = "from the founding of the city [Rome]).

The calculations which Bro. Pratt described in his Ensign articles
could actually point just about as well to a 4 BC birth and AD 30
death of Christ.

His point is that 1 BC and 33 AD work just as well, and fit better
with other things like the Kirtland Temple dedication. It's a model,
not necessarily the right one.
