Default The easy way to understand the Tarot (way psychic able subject life)

The cards do have a power, but only as a tool and only if they are used
in combination with your intelligence and the cooperation of the
subject for whom you are doing the reading. It is absolutely essential
that the reader and the subject are in the same room - would you trust
a physician who claimed to be able to make a diagnosis from a distance,
on the Internet without having seen you? Of course not. Then why trust
a 'psychic' who claims to be able to do the same sort of thing?
The revolutionary improvement in the quality of readings in the EMPRESS
TAROT is based on the use of certain cards to represent the subject and
the important people in their life. This gives an impact and structure
to your readings which other systems lack. The method has been tried
and refined and I can assure you that it will give your readings a
power and an impact that will surprise you and enlighten your subject.

Nonsense!

- would you trust

I certainly trust the findings of the person examining a biopsy -- a lab
employee who does not know me at all -- over the diagnosis a physician
can offer without the aid of this distanced, 'ignorant' technician.

Of course not. Then why trust

Well, actually I've gotten good results from reading Rob Brezney's _Free
Will Astrology_ -- just a matter of knowing what to make (and not make)
of what you read. Likewise, choosing a personal reader requires
considerable care and discernment on one's own part. Some readers are
incompetent; some are charlatans; some, however, may be excellent. I
advise caution rather than dismissal.

<scratches head> This is something new?

The method has been tried

Oh, this is a sales pitch! Now I know why it reminds me of the blurbs on
the back of "revolutionary" diet books and the like.

I'm much more of a ****er for new decks than for advice on how to read.
Show me something that offers a few resonant images, and I bite. Tell me
about your wonderful new method and I'll just chuckle and poke a bit of
fun at you.

If you like different decks, then have a look at this site:

http://www.aeclectic.net/tarot/cards/

It has lots of different decks, with sample images of the card faces.
There are some really wonderful and artistic decks out there!

I too am a ****er for a nice looking deck, though my personal
collection is decidedly small. Mainly just my Crowley and Rider-Waite
decks, though the Rider-Waite one is unused.

I used to look through their reviews often. Haven't for a while. Very
extensive listings of decks. Good samples. Review qualities mixed.

The place I've found best for viewing decks is from a commercial seller:

http://www.astroamerica.com/

His deck reviews are honest and accurate. Of course, he only reviews the
decks he has for sale -- but he seems to sell most everything that's
available. I've bought decks from him more than once and his service is
excellent.

A patently false anaogy. A doctor deals with your physical aspect,

Divination has no such limitations; even from my personal experience
the examples are numerous.

Indeed, considering just how often and how regularly the Cabal (there
was no cabal) of dear, dead days beyond recall used to divine for one
another - and have it work....

Alarmingly well, sometimes!

Blessed be,

And thanks for reminding me about Eclectic Tarot. It had been too long
since I'd visited there.

Ah, a walk down memory lane. Of course, there was no
alt.pagan.cabal. Never was. Just a false rumour. And we didn't plot
endlessly to load the s.r.p Modkin with our members.

Well, we kinda had to, didn't we, to keep wot's-'is-name as used to run
brewich.com from trying to remake alt.pagan in his own image.

Blessed be,
Baird
