Shocker for folks who believe in oblivion
on either an absolute level or on a level
as a consequence of failing to adopt a
particular belief in a particular supernatural
concept or set of concepts -or- as
a consequence of failing to adopt a
specified way of behaving in this life
we all know and share:

However likely is the non-existence of
supernatural beings and however unlikely
or improbable in may be that a natural
world is made up of constituents which
lend themselves to perpetuation in an as
yet unspecified or determined manner ...

.... You may live forever in a natural way,
along with every other bit of matter, in
a natural world, in the multiverse or in
a parallel universe or in an alternate and
naturalistic dimension, free of supernatural
beings of any kind.

You see, the ancient religions were not
cognizant of a multiverse, parallel universes,
big bangs, quantum physics, general
relativity, multiple dimensions incorporated
as part of naturalistic theories involving
superstrings in a natural world, theories
regarding a natural gods-free origin of
existence, and ...

Within that realm are the answers to knowing
what existence is all about and in that knowing
is the possibility, however remote, that ...

.... You may live forever in a natural way,
along with every other bit of matter, in
a natural world, in the multiverse or in
a parallel universe or in an alternate and
naturalistic dimension, free of supernatural
beings of any kind.

No belief required/desired.

No threats made and definitely no threats
desired or tolerated.

Just facts, based on our advances in our
understanding of a natural world which have
yet to reveal the answers/limits as to what
ultimate existence is all about.

Feel free to hope for a continued existence
(I, personally, like to refer to that as a hope
for a pleasant continued existence as I find
an unpleasant existence to be unworthy of
hope).

As soon as anyone discovers that there
is no reason for hope for a continued
pleasant existence or an existence of
any kind in another universe/dimension,
naturalistically speaking, don't worry,
you still can feel free to hope for some
kind of virtual immorality in this plain of
existence we all know and share (if you
have the time to wait, that is).

The above is a totally true representation
of the current state of being of humankind
on this planet, in this dimension, circa
12 billion years or so since the big bang.

The advantage of accepting this philosophy:

No dogma is required/desired.

No faith is required/desired.

No belief is required/desired.

No consequences of disbelief are required/desired.

No competition amongst conflicting beliefs and
no consequences for choosing the wrong belief
are required/desired.

No actions to earn a continued pleasant existence
and no actions to avoid a continued unpleasant
existence are desired/required.

What is required? Acceptance. Acceptance
of the same natural world and natural laws which
are used to nurture you and provide for you and
support you in this world we all know and share.

Beyond that, as regards the future, what does that
hold for those of you willing to accept our natural
world? A recognition of the ability of humankind
to peel back the mysteries of who and what we
are all about and a willingness to leave open the
possibility, however slim, that there is, indeed,
a path to knowledge, peace, joy, and perpetuity
that does mate to the reality of our life experience.

Any promises, here? No. Any myths here? No.
Any likelihoods of a continued existence conveyed
here? No. Merely hope and an acceptance of the
way things are, as best we can experience and
understand them, from the standpoint of our
natural origins in a natural world.

Therein lies the genuine appeal of an unabashed
and honest attempt to combine hope, joy, love,
truth, and the possibility of a continued pleasant
existence for humankind, on this earth, at this
time, in this life.

Peace, joy, love, happiness, truth to all. May we
all live long (forever if possible) and prosper.
