Inerrancy of the Bible? (faith old testament holiness holy prayer)
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life. {John 3:15}
I tried this verse by accepting faith in Jesus Christ above all else,
according to the KJV Bible, and received the Holy Spirit instantly, as
assurance that I had now become a son of God, and therefore would not
perish in the lake of fire, but would spend eternity with my New LORD
and SAVIOR Jesus Christ.
I tried it. It's true.
When I believed in Jesus Christ according to the KJV Bible, God gave
me the
gift of the Holy Spirit(evidenced by immediate: noticable inner
change, peace and security) and when I put my faith in Jesus Christ
according to the KJV Bible. Therefore, the person answering had to be
All-knowing, since I prayed the prayer in my mind, and had to know my
true intentions, since I had said earlier that I believed in Jesus
Christ, without really knowing much about who he really was. And, the
person also had to have authority and ability to make big,
significant, lasting changes inside me, to the deepest level of
changing my spirit. That seems like good evidence that the person was
Almighty and was probably my creator as well.
So, All-knowing, Almighty and my creator -- this seemed to fit God
Almighty and All-knowing.
And, since He gave me the Holy Spirit upon believing in Jesus Christ
according to the bible, He also gave me a testimony that the Bible was
accurate about Jesus Christ. And, then, Jesus Christ refers to all
the old testament as being true. And, he claims to not have lost any
of his disciples except Judas Iscariot. And, Jesus Christ also gave
witness to the teachings that came through his disciples through
miracles, and also the New Testament writings did not conflict with
any of the Old Testament writings. And, the Holy Spirit, which is
also called the Spirit of truth, gave witness with my spirit that the
New Testament words were indeed the inspired words of the true,
Almighty God.
***
That is how I learned that the bible is the inspired word of God. The
following is how the LORD and God Jesus Christ led me after I got
saved in showing me that the King James Version of the bible are His
preserved words, and that the other commonly available english
versions are not His inspired, preserved words.
***
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of
earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt
preserve them from this generation for ever. {Psalm 12:6-7}
Through these, the LORD and God Jesus Christ showed me that He will
preserve His words through all generations.
For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of
this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto
away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and
from the things which are written in this book. {Revelation 22:18-19}
Through these, the LORD and God Jesus Christ showed me that He does
not want His preserved words(at least, the book of Revelation) to be
altered even by a few words( like the different commonly available
bible versions ).
Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O LORD,
for ever. {Psalm 93:5}
Through this, the LORD and God Jesus Christ reminded me that His
testimonies are very sure: meaning, that we can be very sure about
something that is from Him.
A little bit later, He reminded me of two times, when He had given me
extraordinary peace in situations when I was about to get excited in a
bad way. In both of these situations, I was faced with another
brother in Christ, who was opposed to the viewpoint that the King
James Version of the bible is the inspired word of God.
Therefore, I knew that the King James Version of the bible, alone is
the preserved words of the living, true, Almighty God, and the other
commonly available versions are not.
