I've been wanting to try frozen/thawed rats for my Boa, "Luci". She
usually eats fresh killed. I bought 4 jumbos a week or so ago, and
killed & froze them. She's eating them like a champ as I type this! Now
I may have to buy a small freezer to keep rats in......my wife would
kill me if she knew I had those rats in her freezer!
It would be nice to get ratsicles & mousesicles for all my herps! With
all I would save on not buying live rodents, I could get another snake!
Hmmmm......

Well.....I went to pick up another 10 gallon tank for my baby Snow Corn
yesterday. He's about outgrown the "Critter-Keeper" I had him in.
Anyway....the shop had gotten a new snake in.....a tiny baby Creamsicle
Corn. Pretty little rascal. So I made the comment that if he would eat
for me, he could go home with me. The shop was out of pinkies, so I
gathered up the tank and a screen top, and was about to pay for
everything. The kid that runs the place said...."wait a second, lets
look back here".....so he comes up with a pinkie from a dwarf
hamster...lol. I was holding the Creamsicle Corn while he was getting
the hamster. He put the pinkie in the tank, I started to put the snake
in with it...and he nailed the pinkie before I let him go!
Good thing I got the 10 gallon tank....the Creamsicle is in the
"Critter-Keeper" now. :-)

Got about a $20 discount on everything too. I like that kid.....lol.

Heheh... I just disposed of 8 hamster pinkies here. My snakes aren't
allowed live prey so the pinks went to my lizards and spiders.

Congrats on the new baby! Creamsicles are SO pretty!
