Kenyan Sand Boa (ball python)

My Kenyan Sand Boa, a female I believe, is about 14-16 inches long now &
maybe around 2 years old. She has been eating nearly full grown mice,
usually one a week. Never a problem feeding. She is the first Sand Boa I
have ever kept, so I'm not that familiar with their habits. Anyway, for
the last month or so, she refuses mice completely, but will eat a fuzzy
now & then. Also she has started trying her best to escape from her
tank...constantly crawling & standing on her tail trying to push the top
off. She usually stayed buried until feeding time before. Could hardly
tell she was there. Oddly enough, my Ball Python has become the same
way! Is it mating season in Africa? Do I have horny snakes? LOL! Any
other ideas?
Thanks!
