My corn snake is settling in... well I guess so. She is eating. 1 a week
for last 6 weeks skipping 1. The thing is that she is always in one hide
or an other. Two journeys a day to move from the cool hide to the warm
hide. The wife is starting to think we are mad to spend money on something
we never see. I have had a couple of ideas but wanted to see what people
think.
1. Raise the temp in the viv. It is on the low side (23ish)
2. Lift out the hide and handle her from time to time - but I don't want to
make her nervous.
Ideas for encouraging her?

Corn snakes are crepuscular. The mine in the evening are nearly allways out.

73 - I am trying to raise it to 77.
Maybe a little hire even?
I have been sceptical of this given the amount of time she is in the cool
hide anyway. She certainly hasn't been seeking warmer areas. But perhaps
she has just been chillin ;-)

maybe a bit warmer, as long as a cool end, a hotter end is better, let it
sort its own regulation out.
