Whew, beardeds are bigger than any lizards I've kept, so I'm only useful for
very generalized suggestions and pointing you to search engines for care sheets etc. My gut reaction is that you don't want the nest box so deep that you have difficulty locating/digging up the eggs to incubate separately (which is what most people will do, so they can more closely monitor/control incubation conditions). I've had a variety of reptiles in the past: http://www.mcmartinville.com/reptiles/pets/past.htm I haven't updated this page recently but my 1.0 wandering garter snake died in Dec '05 after living 10+ years in captivity (wild-caught adult). All I have now are 0.1 ornate box turtle, 0.1 three-toed box turtle, and 1.0 San Diego banded gecko. -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |
