Anyone know a good website that has plans for building an ig habitat. I am
looking to build one within the next 6 months. My ig is only 6 months old
now so I have the time to build a really good habitat for him. The only
websites I have found so far do not give very detailed instructions. I am
not exactly what you would call a "handy man" so I need all the detail I can
get. I figure this would be a good project to work on with my father who is
now retired.

I like these ones. I plan on going with this design. Also PVC tubing
is much cheaper than wood.

I built one mamny years ago, served me well but found out a few things.

Its in a alcove so only one front, but the front can come off with screws, a
flap can be lifted to get to the bottom, taht shoudl have been a side
opening part.

I used wire mesh, over time a ig can rip thru it, so go for thick stuff,
once its worked how to get thru once it wont stop.

Humidity is a problem, but misting serves a purpose, use thicj braches or
small tree stubs, looks goof and serves a purpose.

Never used glass, the other igs have a whole room to do what they like.
