One of the things I really appreciate now-a-days is the vast improvement
in the quality of photographs being displayed overall. The advent of
digital cameras has made an impressive difference. Some of the herping
pics I see done on lists by people out collecting in the field are
quite amazing as well as being on a level one used to only see from the
professional photographes. It sure makes identifying lizards a whole
lot easier. Some of them provide environmental background shots that
lets one have some insight into where to go to find various species
outside of your local retail outlet. Speaking of that maybe we can
start a topic on "lizard immigration" and colonizing?
