I'm looking for anyone that has experience with green basilisks. I
have one male in a 40-gallon enclosure. I just had a few questions,
mainly about diet. If anyone knows anything about them please email me

The Basilisk Lizards has a diet consisting of crickets, meal worms,
and some will even take small baby mice. They will some times eat dark
leafy greens but beware stay away from Ice berg lettuce because of the
water content. It will give them diarrhea and they become very
dehydrated. They will also eat to the point of where they cannot move
so feed them nothing more than they can consume in about 15 to 20
minutes. With mine I was feeding them the canned Iguana food first
then I was feeding them large crickets and large meal worms sprinkled
with calcium powder. I hope this helps. Any other questions feel free
