dunno mate. Go catch one - they're everywhere in Tunisia and the rest of
North Africa.

LOL, depends on where you are. The Jackson's Chameleons I see around here
(Maui) are dirt cheap in the petstores, if you don't want to go catch one
outside by yourself. I'm guessing the ones on the mainland are mostly
captive bred (at least all ones I've seen there), and that tends to drive
the price up. On the other hand captive bred tend to be healthier and
hardier and all around better adapted to captivity.

Well, I'm here in Denver Colorado. The first ones I ever seen in any
pet store were not for sale, they were breeders. They said try back in a
couple of months for a hatchling that would
be "Oh, WELL over $100".

Are they 'trendy' now a days?
