Got my first wax worm order! I don't know what I was expecting when I
opened the box, but it freaked me out seeing all these white wriggly
things! I almost dropped the box right there.

After the cricket episode, I immediately took the whole setup outside
and got the worms into their little "home". I fed a few to Gary and
at first he looked at one kind of strange, but gobbled it down and ate
2 more.

Now ... after my initial squeemish episode, I am wondering ... can I
just give him the wax worms instead of crickets? Or is it important
that he has both? It seems the worms are much easier to handle then
the jumping bugs.

Wax worms are considered dragon candy, & should only be given as a treat,
