Default Donna Info on our tads

Yep ACF. I can blame my hubby for all the tads LOL.
We had started with 10 eggs from my adult frogs. Then they had more eggs and
my hubby kept putting then in the tad tank. He said he thought a lot of them
wouldn't survive so he kept adding them and low and behold they all hatched
LOL.
He said he wont do that again. This is the first time we have tried to raise
tads from eggs.
We have raised wild frog/toad tad poles a few years back but they were
raised different out of the 50 we had of them only 8 made it to frogs then
we released them.
I guess my hubby thought these would be the same way. Surprise LOL totally
different

Hugs
Bonnie

Some were from the albino, some were from the pigmented ones.
The one that is a frog now is one of the pigmented ones I think I am saying
this right . The pigmented are brown right?

Pigmented, yes. So you have two pairs and they stick with their own
kind? LOL.. I have always been curious to know if an albino and a
pigmented could produce pigmented.

Well I'm not sure because I seen the pigmented male with an albino female,
and the other way around. We have more pigmented tads then albino
I have 8 adult ACF 4 albino (1 is male) and 4 pigmented (1 is male).
So I do know for sure all the females laid eggs the same time LOL. Now the
eggs were different in color but not sure who laid what as they were all in
the tank when we got up in the morning. We transferred the eggs to my 20
high tank.
