Default I think my tortoise needs some help-California Desert Tortoise Behavior Problem (tortoise)

Hi everyone: One of my California Desert tortoises is acting rather
strangely. We have had them for about 9 years now and have had no
problems with them. We have 2 males and one female. They all live
together peacefully in our backyard. Recently, one of them has taken to
marching up and down a particular part of our backyard along the fence
line. He does this all day long. He comes out in the morning, eats and
then proceeds to go up and down the fence. I have absolutely no idea
why. The other two don't seem to do this and they are all fed the same
thing, sleep in the same enclosure, etc. It reminds me of those animals
you see in zoos sometimes that pace up and down their enclosures. Any
help would be appreciated.

He seems healthy enough. Eats well and no health problems.

Thanks!

Eli
