Default Is pet keeping ethical?

I wonder how this troll (who is beating a dead horse) would react to the
following question:

Even in the case of terminally ill patients who are suffering unbearable
pain: Is it ethical to request a prescription for a lethal quantity of
barbiturate drugs with the intent of using them for suicide?

You bet it is. LIFE CHOICES.

Even in the case of an ill-timed pregnancy in the midst of dire poverty: Is
it ethical to remove an unborn fetus out of it's warm hospitable womb?

You bet it is. LIFE CHOICES.

It's perfectly legal. But is it moral? You bet it is, it's about the RIGHT
to CHOOSE. The right to choose is morally sound. It's YOUR life and YOUR
choice what you do with it. NOBODY elses. INCLUDING the government or it's
lowlife control freakish buttinsky bureaucrats.

Is it ethical to keep pets? You bet it is. LIFE CHOICES.

What OTHERS do with their PERSONAL lives has NOTHING to do with YOU.

**** OFF TROLL.

You do NOT make life choices for OTHERS. Life choices INCLUDES keeping pets,
euthanasia, abortion, mortgages, schooling, et al...you name it.

If YOU mind YOUR OWN business, WE will mind OUR business.

If you cannot mind your own business, I'm pretty sure someone out there will
mind it for you before too long.

Choices that impact the well being of other living beings are not "personal".

Goodness, that's not very nice.

I did make any choices or recommendations. I merely raised the question.
Sounds like this is a pretty touchy issue for some.

CHOICES...I mean PRIVATE PERSONAL choices...choices that ONLY affect the
PERSON making those choices.

"personal".

Yep, choices...like choosing to take away other people's freedoms for the
sake of power or arrogance, or for the sake of personal financial
gain...yeah, those kinds of choices.

No, it isn't. I'm never nice to people who want to threaten our freedom (AND
consequently, our WELL BEING).

Wow. I don't think we're even talking about the same things anymore. (If
we ever were).

I havn't threatened your freedom or well being. I'm a libertarian. I can
understand you're frustrated, but I'm not your enemy.

BTW, what are you doing up at this late hour? Didn't you take my advice
about the coffee?

Which sigs do you think do not jib with libertarianism?

==========

The ones which seem designed to accomplish what we used to refer to in
the American Deep South as "Jew Baiting". Nice how these context-free
"quotes" are interspersed with some other bland and otherwise laudable
snippets. I meet very few other Libertarians who promote the ideals of
the 'palestinians' by such methods, if that is your ...purpose? Most of
them I know still remember the images of palestinians dancing for joy in
the streets after 9-11... Last I looked, the Libertarians were an
American "Third Party" political organization, perhaps you are using the
label to refer to some other more... uh.. international group?

Ah, I see: Essentially, you believe that Anti-Zionism is mutally exclusive
with Libertarianism. I fail to see how the two conflict. If anything,
libertarianism is at odds with the fascist and racist ideology of Zionism.

As for the Palestinians dancing in the streets: It obviously wasn't a
widespread phenomenon, as there's only this one piece of footage (of dubious
origin) which is constantly played and replayed by your compromised media.

When I travelled in Palestine, I asked many Palestinians about this
incident, and the general sentiment was that the people dancing were
"crackpots", and were not sympathetic with their sentiments.

That being said, I'm surprised there weren't more Palestinians in the
streets, considering the Billions of dollars the US has spent trying to
exterminate them.

=================

While I am in no way a spokesperson for Libertarians, I DO lean towards
their national view in the main. Mostly my acquaintances of that
persuasion do not make the leap of equating [a fair-handed treatment of
mid-east policy issues] with [a gusto for embracing anti-zionism].
Mutually Exclusive? In practice, probably. I'd say they are more
isolationist than anything, and I think many would much prefer my
mile-thick upwelling magma as the final arbiter for both sides. But
still, as you are not going to solve any intractable mid-east issues
here in RPH by trailing a set of verbose "Its understandable to hate the
Jews" sigs, let me ask you this:

Did you see any Sinai Agamas (Pseudot****lus sinaitus) in your travels?
The breeding colors on a good male blow me away, they almost look like a
computer-generated cartoon version of a collared lizard.
