Probably can't know for sure without a vet, but I have had my leo jump
and fall a couple of times and he has been fine. Good luck.

Your Leo should be fine.

The distance an animal can fall increases greatly as the size
decreases.

A mouse sized animal should be able to take a four foot drop without
any harm.

Though an invertebrate can be an exception to the rule. Don't drop
tarantulas. They splat.

thought:

I was sitting on a lawn and was startled by a THUD about three feet
from me. It was a squirrel that had fallen out of the top of a palm
tree about 40 feet high. He was startled more than anything, and
scrambled right back up the tree after he figured out where he was.
Glad he didn't hit me!
Since we don't see a lot of dead animals scattered underneath trees, I
think it's safe to assume that most forest dwellers are pretty
resilient when it comes to that kind of thing.

I have seen a speckled rattlesnake fall down the side of a cliff,
bouncing several times along the way, had to be about 3 stories high,
from top to where he landed. When I picked it up with my tongs to
relocate him (I rescue rattlers through a non-profit organization in
AZ) he didn't hesitate to strike and leave venom on the tongs.

When I first arrived: http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...5001edited.jpg
After relocating back up the hill he fell from:

The homeowner that called the organization's hotline was out on his
back patio when he saw this poor snake falling. He thought it was a
piece of rubber or something like that, until it started moving.

How's your Leo doing now that it's been a few days? I think that he'll
be okay, but if you have any doubts, take him to a vet that deals with
reptiles and knows geckos...

Good Luck!
