Default New baby!!! (iguana)

These animals are more addicting than beers. Just added to the family- D.
luecomelas
Just one little bugger. Name ? Not for sure yet, but, "Spot".
We don't have any "normal" pets and probably never will. So, to make fun of
all those people with just a dog. Spot is welcomed to our family!

Links to the family:
Spot: not very old "Poison Dart frog" (I'm not the only one this name sounds
cheesy to, right ?)

Prince Gavin the Destroyer: (6Month old bouncing baby boy Beardie):

And if I do say so myself.. the most attractive colours of any beardie I've
every seen. (Those spots on his neck [which look black] actually have a
purple tint!])!

Adivina("Guess" in english) 2.5yrs old[RES], Brutus[Plecostomus] and (#1,2,3
feeder have been too fast thus far to avoid being lunch)

Quit yelling at me about a hiding spot. I fix it daily and they destroy the
little cave I like to make

Skittles(nickname Sir-Squawks-a-lot and sometimes Shittles)

As you can see by his taste for the flash.. Almost a year old and he's
developing tastes for something other than those nutriberries.

n8(ur average lurker)

BTW/PS, I'm looking for a Cuban rock iguana or a Grand Cayman Island (The
Blue's are beautiful). Hell, I'd take a hybrid. I was told today from
LLLReptile that the leader of that crew, David Blair, is pretty much done
with that business. I would be willing to take any links or suggestions to
get an animal as beautiful as these. Cyclura's are hard to find but,
absolutely awesome! Hopefully we shall find one and quit taking animals in
soon. We know of a friend who has a male and would like to take a female
just to keep the world full of these sweet beasts.

sounds

As in Spot where the tiny frog is in the picture, right?

I want a beardie, he's lovely

(#1,2,3

Over here goldfish are more than ten times the price in the US. 15cents in
US versus 1.50 euro+ in Ireland

Who's a pretty boy then? If I get another parrot I'll call it

He's got a tiny little spot on spot of his head (which is mostly yellow)...
that tiny little black spot differentiated him from the rest

**The best.. I still say but, thanks, it wasn't my genes, really. Just my
pic of the litter.

**I guess that makes them a little more expensive than just feeder fish!

**These Jenday Conures are everything BUT quite. Not sure if he understand
the word soup, yet, but, he DEFINATELY is getting the jist of "Time out"

I'm not real sure. I've heard Macaws and what-not. He is not as loud as
those. Although the high pitch is much "screechier"

****atoos and Macaws are much the same in regards to loudness. My ducorps
could get screechy too sometimes. Sometimes he made a sound rather like a
goose honk

The large 'toos are louder then a macaw. And they are capable of
ear-piercing screeches that the macaws simply can't do. I'd rather listen to
a macaw yelling all day then a ****atoo.

My wife used to work in an exotic vet clinic. Helped her out a few
mornings and a 15'x15' room filled with a dozen boarders all screeching
out their morning jungle call just confirmed my earlier beliefs: too
noisy to keep and too little to eat. Think I'll stick with my
relatively silent herps.... ;-)

They may fart, burp, hiss, grunt, slam into walls and floor when they
jump, and pull over the occasional plant/CD stand/bookshelf, but at
least my ears are not ringing! LOL
