I ordered 3 tree frogs from a place in New York to help consume the extra
wingless friutflies I am culturing. They said they had some FEMALE anoles
so I had them send three. I got two males and a nice little female. One of
the males looks awful. I've been working on him for 3 days and he looks
better - he can now hold up his head. I'm dropping insects dusted with
vit/min through a straw so they land right in front of him and he can catch
them without having to move much. Took a picture this AM, here he is:. I
sent them this picture this AM. They apologized and said they will replace
him. I'm not sending him back, he'd never make it so I told them I didn't
want that, I'd keep him and we were even but I wanted them to know they
should never have shipped an animal in that condition and should never have
let an animal get in that condition. They said they'd replace him anyway.
Here's the female: She's too thin, also but I think she will be fine. I
have another tank set up for some terrarium plants and wanted to add some
anoles. Incidentally, these shots are nearly life-size. The glass in front
of the male was pretty dirty.

Oh, the frogs were fine and they packaged everything very well and safely.
