I've got a Mantis that's been through the ringer. She wasn't quite a
"rescue", but was in rough shape when I bought her from the pet store - Her wings were already partially rotten off, as well as a foot which is black, and presumed dead. Her wings are incrementally flaking off, but she's up there in mantis-years, and will likely pass on to the great mantis kingdom before she loses them completely. She looks like the mantis equivalent of that drunk guy from "Taxi". "Pegasus" seems to do alright, though, and sometimes even tries to fly... She can still pluck the flies out of the air like a ninja commando, though, and that's what matters. (And even laid me an Ootheca, and that's what matters more!) -- .................................................. ............................
