4 shots is nothing! I had to give my ball python a set of 21 shots and then
squeeze liquid down his throat! He ended up dying from the RI after the 2nd
dose of the liquid medicine.

We’ll need more info as someone pointed out. About 80%
of my collection is still off feed now so it’s very
common for animals to refuse food now.

Eighty percent of your snakes are still off feed? I guess I’m lucky! LOL
Out of my small collection of 8 ball pythons, only one has fasted. The other seven haven’t missed a weekly meal. Not even during shed. In fact, one of my girls is in full blue and ate her two medium mice without hesitation last night (Tuesday is feeding day for me).

I got her in really early at the first sign of a wheeze…Something
just told me that snakes don’t make noises like that when I heard her
wheeze. She wasn’t even making it all the time…but I didn’t care. Off
to the vet we went. I’d rather pay him to tell me she was fine than
Now for Legolas. I have to get that skinny little rope to break his
fast. He’s going to the Serpentarium today becuse he STILL WON’T EAT.
So, I guess it’s back to the bitty bite sized mice for him…sigh…
