Hello: Welcome to the World Chelonian Trust (WCT) Online - Turtle and Tortoise Care - Internet email community. The purpose of this list is to provide an exchange of information and contacts relating to the care, conservation and husbandry of all species of turtles and tortoises.

While the material posted here will not be actively moderated on a post-by-post basis it is expected that people will conduct themselves in an adult, non-argumentative manner befitting the seriousness of this subject.

After joining please feel free to tell us a bit about you, your turtles and / or tortoises and PLEASE feel free to ask any questions you might have. We are here to help, and all questions will be taken seriously. I can assure everyone that all of us have asked the same questions you think to be too fundamental to bother with here. All of us have asked those same questions and all needed the answers to those questions.

For the more difficult questions we have assembled the most talented people we could find to be here. Some are Trustees of the World Chelonian Trust, others are not even members. BUT ALL CARE and are interested in doing whatever they can to help.
