Question???? needy pauper asks please

Found evidence of cultures older than 20,000 bp. Can anyone tell me....
Why are the gravels under the glacial identifiable,,that is some are red
and some are green. The stone has not graded and the piece is very well
ground by the glacier... while my artifacts I found are black and have
completely graded and appear to be older than the glacial gravels?
