Default Will a Nova make the cold planets hotter ???

I think the problem of our solar system is, that we have too many
worthless frozen planets in it.

So my idea is to turn the sun into a nova, which should make the outer
planets more inhabitable and we'll have a lot of planets and moons to
live on, since a nova takes some time.

Great idea, isn't it?

There are two worthless boiling planets, they sure don't benefit
from a nova.

A better idea might to place all the planets in the same orbit
as Earth. Then they all benefit from the same temperature as
we have now. And think, it cuts down drastically on the time
to get there. You just take off, wait for the next planet
to arrive and land again.

Isn't that a better idea?
