Default Indian Paint Pots

Hello,

I am looking for some information on some rocks which I believe are
called Indian Paint Pots. The are hollow and filled with colored
clay.

Is anyone familiar with these?

Are they often found with unusual shapes? I have many that are very
oddly shaped and quite a few that are shaped like donuts.

Thanks.
