Default How to do the Multiple Assignments in CAS

hello everybody
this is my first post, i hope someone help me with finding a way to
assign the value 0 to a list of variable x1,x2, . . . x100. I am
using the program Maple version 10.
i myself tried
seq(cat(x,i), i=1..100):=0$100;
but this is not working, i do not know why?
any idea how to fixed it or is there a better way?

thank you in advance.

An easy way is to use the "for" loop

but if you really want to use something
that looks like a sequence then you can use

or if you just want n variables that
initializes to 0 then the easiest way
is using Vectors

0

Note: you can post your Maple quesions in a
more Maple specific newsgroup such as

# google Maple newsgroup:
comp.soft-sys.math.maple

# Maplesoft forum
