What is the structure of the source code for Macaulay II?
There are three directories C,D,E with different kinds of
code in them, or so it seems. I guess the C directory has C
source code. What about the others?

Is there a document that explains how the code is structured?

I don't have the source code in front of me. I'm relying on my memory of
having tried to read it recently, so I might have made some mistakes. But
I don't think so.
