I think the large amount of collected rain has more to do with the fact that
Wilma was not in a hurry to move out of the Cancun vicinity. To blame this
on global warming is probably a stretch.

You miss the central point. Before the rain could fall, energy was
required to evaporate the water to get it up there in the first place.

Maybe you missed the even more important point -- when you spewed the
greenhouse gases out of your tailpipe you had no idea where the
consequences would land. This hurricane is from the tailpipe gases put
out 20 years ago. It's not going to get a lot better until 20 years
after you STOP putting so much greenhouse gases up there.

Maybe you don't live along the coastal strip that get hit by hurricanes
-- Global Warming is killing off millions of Pinyon trees in the
American southwest, over 60,000 square miles affected. You can't know
now where you tailpipe gases will come back and bite your @ss.

Any hurricane at any time in the past (say, a thousand years ago) could for
various reasons have moved very slowly over a land area such as the Cancun
area and therefore had time to dump a lot of water into a small area. The
point is that blaming such a current event on global warming is silly. And
please note that I said nothing about the reality of global warming.

Well I did say something about Global Warming. I said WELCOME TO IT.

Hurricanes 1000 years ago that moved very slowly probably did so
because the Mayan priests were not sacrificing enough young virgin in
exactly the right way and the gods were angy. That's not the reason
that the 21st cyclone of this season did so. This year, while Wilma was
dumping 5 freaking feet of water on one spot, Tropical Storm Alpha,
the unprecedented 22nd storm of the year, was preparing to dump enough
water on the island of Hispanola to make a trajedy that would
ordinarily be headline news. Instead, Alpha is a tiny blip on the
screen.

One might dismiss Wilma's profuse niagra falls, except that it had
recently been a unique storm with the lowest pressure ever noticed, or
wads the third catagory five hurricane of a record breaking season, or
that it hit exactly the same place that it's sister Emily hit 3 months
ago. Emily also was very powerful catagory four hurricane at the brink
of being a five.

All these things might have been true 1000 years ago, but the would
have had a reason to be true. Currently we have looked at all the
reasons why Wilma existed along with so many others in these same
waters, and found fault with every reason except the one I mentioned:
Global Warming made the water hot and spawned 25 tropical depressions
and 22 of them went on to become cyclones.

There would have been a reason 1000 years ago, if there was a slow
hurricane 1000 years ago, but we don't have enough information to
determine the cause for certain -- in fact we cannot even determine
that there was a hurricane or a cause 1000 years ago.

We are certain Wilma occurred and we are certain why Wilma occurred,
and Global Warming is the unpleasant truth you are having trouble
accepting.

Here's also what we are certain of: we are going to protect ourselves
from killer threats like Katrina, Rita, Wilma, Ivan, Charlie, Jeanne,
Frances..., and if you hinder our self defense in any way then you are
a threat of equal magnitude and will be solved much easier than Wilma
and friends. Rope is cheap, gallows are plentiful. Accomplices to mass
murder are not missed when they are disposed of. Don't be caught on the
Mass Murderer's payroll, spreading lies and hindering our self defense
against serious threats to our security. We will be checking their
payroll records, even the secret swiss bank ones.

By the way, you are apparently using a computer which requires power which I
assume comes from fossil fuels. I guess we are all going to end up being

SOME PEOPLE are involved in a CRIMINAL Conspiracy to defraud the
public as to the true extent of the threat known to responsible
science. Career criminals with a long history of criminal fraud have
been employed by fossil fuel interests to boost the profits from
destructive industries. These people are criminally cukpable for all
death which are proximately caused by false information which deceives
people not to act correctly against the true level of threat. The true
level of threat, is of course, measured by the actual frequency and
power of increased storms that liars claim is not happening.

It is a scientific fact that not one single person executed by capital
punishment has ever gone on to become a repeat offender.

Rope is cheap. Gallows are common. There are even enough to go around
to low-level operative who continued to deceive after being informed of
the criminal nature of their paymasters and their operations.

Don't get caught on the payroll with records implicating you beyond
this time and date.
