Shaw cylinder dispenser?
Hello all,
I've been running antibiotic residue assays per FDA guidelines;
essentially pouring plates of bacteria innoculated agar and seating
stainless steel cylinders full of samples to measure zones of
inhibition. I've had, however, enormous variability in results. I
believe this may be due, in large part, to the delicate process of
placing the cylinders (they must be slightly tapped down into the
agar).
Research has suggested use of a "Shaw cylinder dispenser" but searches
for where to purchase such an instrument have come up for naught. Does
anyone have knowledge of this instrument or know where I might find
one?
Any help would be very much appreciated!
