Slight Narrowing of the Racial Gap in SAT Scores:

This year, the scores of 137,953 black high school seniors were
tabulated. The mean score for black students on the combined
mathematics and verbal sections was 857, exactly the same score as
in 2003....For whites, the mean score on the combined SAT was 1059.
This was four points lower than in 2003. Therefore, the racial gap
in SAT scores showed a minuscule improvement this year. However, the
bad news is that since 1988 the racial gap on the SAT test has *GROWN*
by 13 points.

Certainly, with the huge allocation of educational resources
in recent years geared to closing the DAFNgap, significant
improvement should have been shown (if there was not a
*Genetic_Limit* operating). Four pointz is in the noize level.
