A search for a wanted man led Sharonville police to a different suspect
and a whole lot of cash.


Officers responded to the Motel 6 on Hauck Road Friday morning, looking
for a man wanted on felony charges.

At the first room they tried, officers spotted a different man who they
say had marijuana, crack cocaine, and a large amount of cash.

Police think there maybe close to $10,000 in large bills.

Officers later spotted two other men walking to a car outside a different
motel room.

One of those men turned to be the original guy they were looking for.

Police say the suspect resisted arrest and had to be tased before they
could get him in custody.

"With all the evidence and the investigation that we have what we know
about the individuals we have in custody, we believe drug trafficking was
probably taking place in these rooms," said Officer Christopher Wilson
with Sharonville police.

Police are now counting the cash to see how much was recovered.

Names of the suspects have not yet been released.
