JACKSON HAS GAME WINNING GOAL FOR STORM IN WIN

The Toledo Storm knocked off the Gladiators in Game 2 of the American
Conference Finals 4-3 in overtime to tie the best-of-seven series at a
game apiece. Todd Jackson rolled the puck past Gwinnett netminder Adam
Berkhoel on the power play for the game winning goal for the Storm at
7:14 of overtime for the win. The series now shifts to the Toeldo Sports
Arena for Game 3 on Friday, May 12th at 7:35 p.m.

Toledo jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a tally by Gerry Burke just
2:41 into the opening period. Matt Zultek was able to keep a Gladiators
clearing attempt in at the blue line and feed Burke along the blue line
to set up the goal. Burke ripped a long slapshot that beat Gladiators
goaltender Adam Berkhoel for the marker.

Derek Nesbitt tied the game at a goal apiece with a power play goal 4:52
into the first period. Troy Milam ripped a slap shot wide that Nesbitt
re-directed past Toledo goaltender Logan Koopmans for the marker. Jeff
Campbell picked up an assist on the goal, feeding Milam at the point.

The Storm answered just 64 seconds later on the marker by Rob Snowball
to take a 2-1 lead. Snowball finished a scramble in front of the
Gladiators net to complete a 3-on-1 break for the marker. Scooter Smith
and Matt Zultek also collected assists on the Toledo goal at the 5:56
mark of the first period.

second period. Magowan finished a 2-on-1 break with Jeff Attard as he
redirected a cross-ice pass behind Berkhoel for the goal. B.J. Adams
also had an assist on the goal, ad he moved the puck up ice to Attard to
set up the tally.

Matt York cut the Toledo lead to one finding the puck in a pile up in
front of the Storm net at the 6:54 mark of the third period. Steve
Slaton and Rick Emmett also got a stick on the puck in the slot for the
assists before York found the back of the net to for the goal.

Streaking in from the top of the right wing circle, Brad Schell found a
loose puck in the slot and ripped a snapshot over the shoulder of
Koopmans for the tying goal. Troy Milam picked up an assist taking the
initial shot that created the big rebound leaving the puck in the slot
for Schell to corral. Guillaume Desbiens also had an assist on the goal
at the 12:49 mark of the third period to tie the game at three.
