Any driver or team can not benefit from a caution that the driver/team
caused. The driver will instead not get his lap back and will start at the
end of the longest line, or have a 2 lap penalty.

This would has prevented dej from getting his lap back when he caused the
wreck with the 48..


and before you complain that silver spoon boy did not cause the wreck. read
the following from His Press conference.


"I got a good hard run by Michael and hit him by the flag stand.
Both of us were going straight.

"Typically when you do that - I probably did it maybe 45, 50, or 60
times today - you normally don't have a problem. But it just caught
Michael's car and turned him sideways. And the No. 48 (Jimmie Johnson)
was trying to draft off of the side of him. He was really close. They
were about to hit tires. Michael just knocked the heck out of him and
sent him on down the race track."

Not bad...but who is to say who caused the wreck or a caution for
sure? Sometimes it is obvious, sometimes not...sometimes it's just
racin'.
