AA vs. NL in 19th Century
Clay Davenport did, and posted the results to SABR-L 3 years ago. His
conclusion was that the AA was weaker every year. In terms of EQA, it
peaked in 1889 at 11.5 points worse than the NL, and was about the
same from 1886-1888. Differences in the other years were 20 points or
more. The Players League was slightly stronger than the NL.
