Eastern is the most important for ratings as it has the most people.

One of the many advantages of living in California is that the game
should be ober by 8:30. Wew normally have all the scores by 11 and the
morning papers almost always have box scores of all games.

It makes it difficult to follow an east coast team, as you're either
taking off from work at 3:30, or Tivo'ing the game -- but you have to
catch up by 7pm so you can switch to the next game.

I agree it's nice for events like the HRD where I don't care as much.

But that's made moot by the internet these days.
