During the Maui invitational, we actually ran the court quite well. Our
lack of consistency (Mark Jones) seems to have developed more as we've
slowed the pace down. Surprisingly, KW & Finn can get up and down the court
quite well for big men, and our bench is rather deep, so I'm not sure why
the article mentioned wearing Dayton down via UC's pressure and depth.

Other than that game, we haven't beaten UC in basketball since January 1989.

In order for Dayton to win, all of our starting five will need to play up to
their potential, and that just hasn't happened yet. I imagine the game will
end in a sub 10 point difference, but UC's victory seems all but assured.
We haven't played consistently all season long. Logan White is afraid to
shoot the ball, even though he has a good stroke & has hit several clutch
shots. Mark Jones isn't playing very good defense, & he can't seem to find
his shot. There's also a very good chance you'll see a lot more of Marques
Bennett Tuesday, as Jones tries to find his game.

I'm a little surprised your friend didn't mention anything about our free
throw shooting. For our last two games, we're 40/63 (about 63.4 percent).
Watching your team miss three free throws in a row in a tight game can be
quite frustrating.
