to see how the general populace feels about our B's. Its awful quiet...just
like last night's performance.

If anyone with connections is reading this (wink, wink) I think it is
obvious that at least most of us in here, as fans, would like nothing more
than to cheer this team's performance...but this past 15 games or so have
been in large part, miserable.

We cannot cheer flat, listless, uncaring performances. I would rather a
team lose with pride, and go down fighting than to just lay down. And that
is *exactly* what the B's have done.

There is a serious flaw on this team. I cannot put my finger on it (I think
that would fall under O'C job description) and it needs to be addressed.
This season is going no where fast.

I've been a B's fan since birth, but they've finally driven me to the point
where I can no longer invest any emotional interest into the team. I used
to hang on every minute of every game. Now, if I watch the game, it's only
background noise while I play Vice City or Tiger Woods 2004. And even then
I usually change the channel before the end of the game. If fans like me
(and the rest of you hardcore B's fans) are loosing interest, that's sad.
I'm thinking about getting Center Ice now, and following a different team.
I can't believe I'm even saying this. Unfortunately, my second favorite
team growing up (North Stars) are gone.

Total Quad here! I've been the most die-hard Bruins fan out of everyone I
know for years now. Lately, I just haven't had my heart in it like before. I
think I've watch 2 or 3 games so far this month. I used to plan things
around the Bruins (wouldn't go on a date on a game night or do anything at
all on a game night) but lately I haven't had to think twice. Anything is
better than staying in and watching the game. Why should I put my heart into
it when the team isn't putting their hearts into it?

BTW, if you're looking for a good PS2 game, check out True Crime: Streets of
LA. I've been playing that one for a couple of weeks now (instead of
watching the Bruins). It's like a combination of Vice City and Maxx Payne.
Great graphics and gameplay but the soundtrack is all rap (the one
drawback).

I'm feeling about the same way - just numb. Felt this way from January
on last year. Disgust has set in, and am seriously hoping they do
something dramatic. I really couldn't care less about the "core"
anymore.

For all I care, they could trade Samsonov, Murray and Thornton and I
would barely blink an eye. People would call this an overreaction, but
like it could get worse? No...I'm sorry, it can't. A team that sizzles
and wins then flames out in dramatic fashion two years in a row with
decent talent is not worthy of my emotion.

I am committed via having some tickets in hand, and that depresses me
even more. What a waste of time. I don't care as much about the money
I spent, it's the thought I might actually go to these games, spend 2
hrs watching uninspired players go through the motions.

The timing for a lockout/strike is perfect. It will send me back to
reality and I will walk away from this team. I did it once and got
****ed back in, but it will be much easier this time.

I saw them at the Fleet. They were cute. Definately a nice distraction
during breaks.

I've been interested in hearing what someone though of that game. My first
though after seeing the commercials was that it was just a Vice City rip
off. Sounds cool though. I'll have to see if there's a PC version. I
don't have a PS2.
