My Unshuffled Pound For Pound List
I like yours too.
Here is mine, as of now:
1. Roy Jones, Jr. -- Virtually undefeated, never tested, heavyweight
champion by outclassing tough Ruiz
2. 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather - truly undefeated, rebuilt image
slightly tarnished in the close Castillo fight.
3. Marco Antonio Barrera
4. Erik Morales -- fought two virtual ties and are basically even.
5. Kostya Tsyzu - unified, undisputed champ of division.
6. Bernard Hopkins -- would be higher if he was a better businessman.
Wins over Hakkar and the Squirrel since Tito aren't enough to make top
5.
7. Oscar de la Hoya -- since the Mosley loss he beat Vargas/Gatti/etc,
however a second loss to Mosley might drop him out of top ten.
8. Ricardo Mayorga -- has two belts in a tough division. Beat the
beater of Mosley twice in different ways.
9. Manny Pacquiao -- true champ at Super Bantam, beating Barrera will
launch into top 5.
10. Shane Mosley -- former No. 1, but no wins since Adrian Stone.
However he made a good account of himself in close Forrest II fight,
so he is higher than Forrest who was KO'd and then clearly outclassed
by Mayorga.
11. Vernon Forrest -- Beat the best, lost to the rest.
12. Acelino Freitas -- unified champ in tough division, truly
undefeated, probably rated a little low, but tough to say
13. James Toney -- beat Jirov, moving up to heavy to fight former
champ and challenger, maybe a little overrated on the list.
14. Dariusz Michalczewski -- truly undefeated, linear champ, but the
inferior belt and lack of exposure in the States hurts rating.
15. Rafael Marquez -- destroyed two legends, Too Sharp and Cincinnati
