Looks like the curse of Jamie McLennan and November, part deux are back
again.

21 goals in 12 games = 143 goals for the whole season

Last 5 games 1 W 3 L 0 T 1 OTL

Is it a coincident that the big losing streak of last season started
with an OTL against the Rangers exactly one year ago today!

Thu Nov 7 @ NY Rangers OTL 0 1
Sat Nov 9 @ Florida L 0 3
Mon Nov 11 @ Atlanta L 1 2
Thu Nov 14 NY Rangers L 1 2
Sat Nov 16 St. Louis L 0 1
Tue Nov 19 Detroit L 0 5
Thu Nov 21 Edmonton L 1 3
Sat Nov 23 Chicago W 3 1
Tue Nov 26 @ Boston L 2 7
Wed Nov 27 @ Washington L 2 4
Fri Nov 29 @ St. Louis L 2 7
Sun Dec 1 @ Detroit L 2 4

14 goals in 12 games 1 W 10 L 0 T 1 OTL

I was a bit surprised to see after the shutout lost to Wings,
Sutter actually go ahead to scretch Lombardi too.

I was more looking forward to see both Saprykin and Lombardi in the lineup..

Kind of interesting to see that Saprykin has been benched the past
couple of games. Personally I thought he was playing pretty good when
he was out there.

From the little bit of what I've seen from him this year he has stunk.
I sure hope he can get his act together and get out of Sutter's dog
house, because he can put up some points in the NHL. For whatever
reasons he just doesn't seem to have the drive to be succesful.

I don't think it makes any sense to bench Saprykin when we have enough
problems scoring goals already...

.... Saprykin has a better offensive touch than Oliwa or Lowry (though I
realize Oliwa has notched 1 goals this season).

Oliwa is the enforcer out there. Every game he plays he gets into a
fight. I sometimes wonder if that is the only role he has on the team
to get out there and get into fights.
