Just wanted to say congratulations to my (2nd) hometown team (lived in
Boston from '73-'83) New England Patriots and their fans on their 2nd Super
Bowl title in 3 years. I also want to congratulate the Carolina Panthers and
their fans on a very successful season. [even though you beat my hometown
Eagles and ruined my Pats-Eagles Super Bowl matchup...

] And after the way
this NFL season went, this was the perfect way for the season to end. A few
things that I want to point out:
1) Two #1's and two #2's in the 2004 NFL Draft for the Pats, plus the return
of Rosevelt Colvin... this team has a legit chance to be a dynasty in this
salary cap, free agent era... they will win another title in the next 2
seasons at least.
2) Why did John Fox call a TO with around 1:14 left in the game? I t
might've been neccesary for Carolina, but at the same time, they scored too
fast and gave Brady and the Pats time to score again.
3) The way the Pats were moving the ball, even if Kasay's kick didn't go out
of bounds, you just had the feeling that the Pats would've gotten into
scoring range anyways. (even if the Pats were at their 25-35 yard line)
4) I agree with Phil Simms and whomever else. Fox should've just taken the
extra point to make it 21-17 instead of going for the 2 point conversion.
5) How oh how did Kasay wind up kicking that ball out of bounds? [although
i'm glad you did...
