Wouldn't the Eagles want to keep McNabb out of the 10/17 Carolina game?

An injury in that game might not give him enough time to get well
before the playoffs - if indeed Philly can make them this year.

You know the Panthers are going to be teeing off against Donovan in
that game. Even to the point of an offsides on a prolonged audible
resulting in a hard hit to the turf and a reinjury to the ribs or to
something else.

Something to think about Eagles fans......and Donovan (Mc)Ribbs as
well.

Ole McNabb, truly an overrated QB, will lead his team to a high #1 pick.
You cannot make a mediocre QB decent with one new receiver. Jake, as
well as Weinke and Peete, are much better than McNabb.

ps - mcnabb's stats will do the talking this year, no commentary
required. however, i have to add some information missing from your
brain. mcnabb had one of the worst three receiving corps in the
league last year. they couldn't get open. that was a problem against
a very good defense like carolina's last year. owens can get open
against any two guys you stick on him - and he can do so quickly.
mcnabb will release the ball more quickly as required. one mistake
playing owens too tight, mcnabb scrambles, 7 points. another mistake,
7 more points.

dorothy, you aren't in kansas like last year... no matter how badly
