Default Remembering The Great Harlon Hill

White country boy from Dixie, wide receiver, 6'3" and 200 lbs., ran
like a deer. The minute he threw his ass on the field as a rookie, he
was the best receiver in the NFL; in a class by himself, sort of like
Jim Brown was the best runner from his first day. There's a film clip
from 1956 showing a catch against the Giants which has got to be the
greatest catch of all time. Three brilliant years and then an injury
which reduced his performance markedly although he hung on about six
more years.

Interesting... Is this the same Harlon Hill who's name appears
on the Div. II college trophy? The Harlon Hill is the DII
equivalent of the Heisman.

I can't imagine there would be too many super outstanding
college players named Harlon Hill, so I'm guessing it is the
same guy.
