Default Sapp a Bear?

Buccaneers: Jones, Sapp will hit the open market
The News
Tampa Bay general manager Bruce Allen said on Friday that the Bucs
will not be able to resign free agent running back Thomas Jones or defensive
tackle Warren Sapp before the open market begins on Wednesday. "The grass
isn't always greener on the other side," Allen told the St. Petersburg
Times. "A lot of players don't want to leave a specific locker they've had.
It's a frightening time for some because they are afraid the telephone will
not ring."
Our View
Despite his statement, you can bet the phone will be ringing for Jones
and Sapp. Allen admitted to the fact that there's a strong chance that both
Jones and Sapp will receive generous offers from other teams. Jones
reportedly is seeking a deal in the neighborhood of $3 million per season
and may get that from running back-starved teams such as the Cowboys or
Bears. Chicago's new head coach Lovie Smith also worked with Sapp in his
prime in Tampa Bay. The Colts (with former head coach Tony Dungy) and the
Ravens are also possible destinations for Sapp.

Why does A-Train get no love? The guy can easily gety 100 yards if he gets
about 25 touches a game. We don't know if he can catch the ball out of the
backfield or not due to the fact of the offense we ran. I feel sorry for
the guy. I'm just surprised some other NFL team like Dallas hasn't tried to
get Thomas away from us since it's obvious that Angelo has something against
him.

Don't worry......I do agree that A-Train is adequate.....but in Angelo's
eye's isnt that difference maker.

The draft is approaching...wait and see.

Anthony Thomas didn't seem to have too much trouble in Michigan
catching out of the backfield. I think that it will come back to haunt
the bears if they lose the train. He's just a notch below the top tier
backs. He's breaks big runs regularly. If Grossman and a good line
could take pressure off him, then the sky is the limit.

The Bears are looking for "Playmakers" like Randy Moss.

A-Train is average. And for you to froth at the mouth just because a guy
can gain 100 yards per game in a 16 game season proves just how much
mediocrity Bear fans are accustomed to.

That's why most Bear fans love the Tom Waddles of the world. Average, slow,
don't make the plays in the endzone, but hey, he tries hard!! Until the
Bears draft guys that are PLAYMAKERS they will always ****eth

LOL

Who do you think is more valuable on a team? A guy that can get the all
important TD, or simply run the ball from the 20 to 20 and finish with a
fieldgoal?

A-Train is average. Nothing wrong with that, Bears have plenty of average
overpaid players.

LMAO! WTF!! RTFM!!! TNSTAAFL!!!!

Pay attention: the red zone is where David Terrell works his magic.

Damn, you're right. Trade you A-Train for D'Wayne Bates, John
Avery, Gus Frerotte, and a sandwich to be named later?

Default Sapp a Bear?==Big 10

I agree with ya big10.....Playmaker being the key word. I know i would
like the Bears to have a RB with 20 attempts for 150 yards more than a
rb with 25 attempts for a 100 yards. But, that wouldn't be Bears
football. Bears football is **** Jauron and the dink and dunk Shoop
offense. As for Sapp? I think he would be greatfor this Bears defense.
He might not be in his prime...but it's not like the Bears can get
Stroud, Jenkins, Simon, or R.Smith in FA.
